The Conversation explores visions of our future and questions of the good. If you rolled an audio documentary, dinner party, and digital humanities project into a giant media-burrito.
It's a music podcast featuring songs and bands you might have missed.
Design blogger Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge takes her love art and design from the web to radio. Through a series of interviews with designers, store owners and up-and-coming members of the creative community.
Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m a root beer enthusiast and troublemaker who lives in San Francisco, CA. Also, I’m the founder of Makeshift Society, a clubhouse/coworking space for creative professionals, a consultant for small business owners, particularly product designers, and I contribute to Anthology Magazine and UPPERCASE magazine.
What podcasts do you listen to?
The Conversation, which is a series of interviews with forward-thinkers about common themes that are shaping our present and future, tries to connect the dots – all of them – which I can relate to, so of course I love it. Daniel Dunnam pulls a great, eclectic selection of music together for The Sounds in My Head. My friend Grace hits all the topics I’m interested in – small business, design, craft, balancing the workload, where creativity comes from – on After the Jump.
How do you listen to podcasts?
Usually on my iPhone while I’m heading to work or sitting at airports. I can’t read in a car or bus so podcasts are perfect for me.
